A: The Safe-Dock™ is a universal docking station that holds infants that are in their car seat carrier, whereas the Safe-Seat® Elite is an infant seat that an infant gets put directly into without their car seat.
A: We know that 97% of new parents walk into stores carrying their infant in their car seat carrier, so while about 2% of your shopping carts should feature a Safe-Dock™ to accommodates those parents, we do recommend having one or two Safe-Seat® Elite units in the same store for parents that don’t arrive in a car, or do not choose to bring their infant carrier into the store.
A: Yes, we do carry replacement harnesses for the Safe-Seat® Elite, we carry them in black, red, and blue.
A: Depending on what the issue is, we should be able to help you. We have a bar that might need to be installed on the cart first. Please contact our Customer Service Team at 1-800-356-7796 and they will help you determine if a bar is needed.
A: While there are no guidelines, we suggest that the Safe-Seat® Elite be checked by your maintenance company once a quarter to ensure it is in optimal condition. Most retailers make servicing and maintaining this equipment part of their shopping cart maintenance contracts.
